The Small Business council (SBC) is a dedicated group of volunteers whose goal is to provide small businesses in Sandy Springs with the tools, training, information and support that empowers them to succeed and to recognize those that are successful. The SBC is responsible for small business training and education and small business advocacy and recognition. The Small Business Council of Sandy Springs Perimeter has a lot to offer small businesses in the Greater Sandy Springs Perimeter area. It is committed to providing small business leaders and managers with the tools they need to grow and prosper, both personally and professionally.

Join your peers for an informative lunch session covering specific small business topics. This year, we are pleased to welcome entrepreneur extraordinaire Jim Beach! Lunch and learns take place from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM. Venue: Resource Planning Group, 10 Glenlake Parkway NE, South Tower Conference Center, Lower Level Room #55.

His School for Startups Radio is on 12 AM/FM stations and many internet platforms, where he has interviewed Shark Tank judges and winners, billionaires, bestselling authors, and countless entrepreneurs. Jim's McGraw-Hill book "School for Startups" was published in June 2011 and reached as high as number 9 on Amazon's business section.  Jim has led fundraising efforts for real estate apps, healthcare IT, and hospitality companies. At the age of 25, he started the American Computer Experience and grew the company with no capital infusion to $12 million in annual revenue and to over 700 employees. After selling this business, Jim taught at Georgia State University and was the top-ranked Business School professor 12 semesters in a row.
