1 DDOn behalf of the Sandy Springs Perimeter Chamber, I welcome you to Sandy Springs, the second-largest city in the Atlanta metro area. Sandy Springs and the Perimeter area are at the crossroads for business in the Southeast at I-285 and Ga. 400.

From our Fortune 500 and international companies to our homegrown small businesses and our beautiful residential neighborhoods, Sandy Springs offers everyone a successful environment in which to live, work, grow and prosper. With the largest Class A office market in the Southeast and as home to more Fortune 500 companies per capita than any other Georgia city, the Sandy Springs/Perimeter area not only knows big business, we haven't forgotten our Southern roots. In fact, Yelp, the company whose purpose is to connect consumers with great local businesses, recently named Sandy Springs No. 1 among Yelp's 2016 Cities of Distinction in its inaugural Bizzie awards. The award recognizes the most customer-friendly small businesses and communities in America.

In 2017 we look forward to many great things continuing to happen in our community. The construction of the Mercedes-Benz USA headquarters will be well under way. And the much-anticipated City Springs, the $300 million mixed-use project that will become our city's cultural heart, should be completed by the end of the year.

There is no better time to be a member of the Sandy Springs Perimeter Chamber. Your Chamber offers more benefits for local businesses than ever before. We are a strong and respected voice with our local government on issues that impact all of us.

Our Chamber is active in improving our workforce development, collaborating with businesses and the educational community to cultivate the best and most capable labor force in the metro area. The Chamber hosts an ever-expanding mix of events, from informal social gatherings to educational seminars to lunches with influential guest speakers, that provide our members networking opportunities with fellow members, prospective customers and community leaders.

If you're not already a Chamber member, we strongly encourage and invite you to join the SSPC. An investment of your time guarantees your ability to connect with the people and resources that can help make your business more successful. Visit our website at www.sandyspringsperimeterchamber.com to learn more about upcoming events and programs and how you can join our great organization. We look forward to meeting you.

On behalf of the Board of Directors and Chamber staff, I want to thank all of our members for their enthusiastic support and participation. We look forward to 2017 and beyond as we continue to work together for our great community.

Sincerely,
